This recipe was created like so many others, because we had the ingredients on hand. Despite the fact that it’s November, basil is still hanging on our front porch. You’ll need to whip up some of this basil infused vodka to make this basil vodka fizz. Don’t worry – it’s super easy to do!
Basil Vodka Fizz
- 2 oz basil infused vodka
- good brut champagne
Fill two champagne glasses about 2/3 full with a good brut champagne, or one that isn’t too sweet. Pour approximately 1 oz of basil infused vodka into each glass. Garnish with a fresh basil leaf. Enjoy!

Kristen, I’m always a fan of recipe that come from what’s on hand and fresh from the garden. You still have basil growing? Wow, lucky you.
Your fizz looks delish and I’m thinking your basil infused booze would also make a tasty Vodka tonic:)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family,
Erin

Erin,
This whole being able to enjoy things fresh from my garden is totally new to me. Usually I kill plants, herbs, veggies, etc in record time, which makes it even more puzzling as to why there is still basil growing! In November! Go figure. Might as well enjoy it
